I have a Taylor line. Belinda (Malinda) Taylor married John Brinson before 1800 in Kentucky. They lived in Madison and Pulaski, Kentucky. Some people indicate she was from North Carolina. Any information would be nice.

My husband's family are Taylor.
The farthest back we have found is Robert Taylor, born c 1808, Kentucky; died 1906, Carroll County, Arkansas. His last wife was Roseanne Collins Ping. They were in the 1870 Census of Lawrence County, Missouri, married within the year. I believe this is the same Robert Taylor in the 1860 Census Adams County, Illinois with wife Permelia. We don't know how many wives he had before Permelia, or how many children. I know of sons James, Noah, and Thomas. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

My family comes from Simeon Taylor who came to the US from Ireland in the 1700s and his family settled in Bolingbroke, GA

Am looking for info on the family of George EDWARD Taylor (b. 1850), Sergeant in the 5th Militia. Daughter Kathleen Taylor who was born in Ireland, although family seems to be English. Mother Kathleen Sommerset (b. 1851). Kathleen moved to Canada with husband Clifford Butler in 1902.

My ggggreat-grandfather was William S. TAYLOR b. circa 1770. His grandchildren submitted applications to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Muskogee Area Office, Relating to the Enrollment of the Five Civilized Tribes under the Act of 1896. They listed Cherokee as the tribe on the application and that he was from MS. His daughter Mary "Polly" TAYLOR b. 16 May 1801 in TN d. 13 June 1887 in Wise Co, TX m. 1825 to John RAY. They were my gggreat-grandparents.

My 3rd great grandfather George Taylor married Mary Taylor 2 Jun 1825 in Habersham county Georgia. They had nine children. I am a descendant of their oldest daughter Mary Lucinda Taylor who married William Brewster Burke.

My Taylor connection goes back to William Taylor born 1847 in England who married Sarah Granger born 1846.

My Taylor line is from my step-dad's side of the family. His great grandmother was Fannie Maud Taylor, who died in TX.

Her parents are John Joseph Taylor (b. 1846 Ill. d. 1907 TX) and Mirendia Jane Tate Taylor (b. 1850 Ill. d. 1918 TX).

John Joseph Taylor's parents are:
Thomas Dodson Taylor (b. 1823 Ill. d. 1886 TX) and Annis Mariah Bird Taylor (b. 1825 Ill. d. 1912 TX).

That's as far as I have been able to get with sourced information.
