I found this group when I was searching for my Great Grandmother's ancesters on ancestry.com.  My great grandmother's US maiden name was Braun and I was hitting a brick wall until I found out her French Canadian maiden name was LeBrun.  Anyone out there looking for the Shriver/LeBrun  link?

When I married my Western NY husband in '92, I had no idea that I, too, had Western NY roots!  My aunt had discovered that my great-grandfather George Pleau came from Rochester.  I've since discovered so much about him & his family.  This past year, I got to visit my great-great grandparents' graves at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Also researching Riley of Rochester, New York.  Dr. Walter Riley was a well known medical examiner for many years. His parents were James T. Riley and Anna Prindergast.  There may have been a step-mother as well.

Researching the Donovans of Rochester, New York.  James F. (1856-1927) and his siblings and his parents.  I am sure he had two brothers, Michael and Timothy.  Parents may have been Timothy and Ellen (found on the census) but haven't confirmed.

I am looking for the parents of Isaac Marsh was born 6 April 1774 and moved to the Le Roy area of New York around 1806. He died on 16 May 1825 in Le Roy, Genesee County, New York at the age of 51 years. He is buried at the Fort Hill Cemetery in Le Roy, Genesee County, New York. Isaac Marsh was married to Judith Marsh. They had six children, Franklin, Alson, Cyrus, Hiram, Onslow and Maria. Any help would be much appreciated.
