Luke Browne

Luke was born in 1902. He lived his entire life in County Mayo, eventually moving from the family farm in Caherduff, Cong, to the town of Ballinrobe. Family lore has it that Luke was an IRA runner in his younger days. He married Bridget Fahy much later in life, waiting patiently for her as she cared for her elderly parents.
