RICHARD AMERICKE crest

Richard AMERICKE, aka AMERYK and Richard ap MEYRICK is from our extended MEYRICK family group out of Wales and was a part of the journey with John CABOT to the land that became America and I believe as do many others that the United States of America was actually named for Richard AMERICKE instead of Amerigo VESPUCCI. Even the crest of Richard AMERICKE seems to indicate this probability as is agreed on by many researchers.
