I inherited this photo with a key showing the names of those included. I will look that out and write a proper list. The short answer for now is that it shows the four children of Fred Sykes & Ellen Stott (as adults) with their spouses and some of their children and grandchildren. My Sykes ancestors came from the Colne Valley near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, UK. There are a lot of Sykes there so it can get confusing!

The four children are:
Ada Sykes (born 1874?) - middle row, third from left
Simeon Sykes (born 1877) - back row, second from left
Lily Sykes (born 1880) (my great-grandmother) - middle row, third from right
Sam Sykes (born 1888) - back row, second from right

Hey, my mums maiden name is Sykes. Do you know the names of any of the people in this photo?
