I too have links to the Jenner family through Ann Jenner marrying Daniel Merrett (my 3 x ggfather). My cousins and I have traced Ann back to an Anselm Jenner (bapt 1691 in Stonehouse). Before that our records are unconfirmed but include 3 Anselm Jenners (born abt 1660, bef 1646 and abt 1610). Before that the scene seems to move to Dunmowe in Essex (near my house in England coincidentally) with Andrew Jenner (born abt 1566 in Biggots, Dunmowe) and finally Andrew Jennor (born 1538 in Biggots, Dunmowe). I teach Biology at a school in Lesotho and it has been one of my little jokes to describe Edward Jenner as "my cousin." I wondered if you could shed any light on Ann's connection to Edward. Thanks.
Hi there Alison, thanks for contacting me. My 2 x ggmother was Eliza Merrett. Her parents were Thomas & Harriet Merrett and Eliza's siblings were Euhelia, Corbert, Samuel, James, David & Emma. They came from Randwick. Where is Longney?. Have you heard of any of these names?
Kind regards, Heather
Hello how are you? I joined this wonderful network on yesterday. I see that you are researching the last name Boyce. I am a Boyce descendant and wanted to say hello!
Thanks for joining the Vines Family Research Group. I'd like to invite you to post you line and any Vines related roadblocks you have to the Discussion Forum.
I belong to the Surrey Group. One of the names I have on my FT is SHEARS, they originally came from Exeter, Devon and moved up to St. James, Clerkenwell Middlesex, re the 1861 Census. There are other names I could link with, but not in the places you have listed.
It has links to many of the county groups now, so is an excellent central
point for links round the country, and a focal point for news & discussions
relevant to England.

I am interested in Braybrooke , my mother was a Braybrooke and the family lived in India until 1930s. My Grandfather worked on the Indian Railways.
