Thanks for investigating. The George William Clark (buried in Dunreath and apparently married to 2 Roush sisters) and George Elza Clark from another part of Marion County each seem to have married with nothing (as of yet) to indicate that they're my grandfather.
Thanks, Cristy. It's all just common sense. Some of the older gentlemen just want to huff and puff. I'm rather outspoken (maybe that's an understatement) and say what I think. I really have to curb saying too much. :-) I don't have any idea what the man (Leonard) is trying to do, but the FAG site is such a good one, and I hate to see anybody criticize it for any reason. I've been doing genealogy for 20 years, and when I find a really good site, I try to protect it, as I think we all do. :-) Brownie
Hi, I have a picture for no grave found, that we use as part of our historical cemetery group. I can email this to you if you would like. Pat

Hi Cristy, I read your post on the Iowa site. I had some families that settled in Pella in the mid 1800's. The one I am trying to find is the Walravens. Nickolaas and his first wife Maren (Maria) settled there with their children. They arrived about 1868, and Maren must have died soon after because Nickolaas remarried in 1869. I am trying to find out what happend to the children from the first marriage. They are:
Mattje born15 Mar 1857, Klasina born 25 Apr 1859, Heubert born 30 May 1860, Alida born 22 Oct 1861, Maria born5 Feb 1863, If you would look to see if any of them are listed in your book, I would really appreciate it.
You can e-mail me at - tanglewynd@aol.com.
Thank you,
Joan
THey are three of them. Saved your e-mail address. Most of them will be buried somewhere close to Pella, Iowa and probably will be Dutch names. Will figure out and send you some. my e-mail address is ljsmaatiowatelecomdotnet. Thanks Sharon If you write out your e-mail address they can't copy it.

If you find a George Clark let me know. I believe there's one buried in Dunreath. My relatives not named Clark are mostly in Rees Cemetery.
Christy, If you sponsor a page on Find-a-Grave, the ads are removed. Last time I did it, it cost $5.00.
