That is phenomenal. I often wonder what would I be able to learn about my 4th Grandfather, James Wingfield, had he lived well beyond emancipation. Unfortunately, he was lynched in 1885 in Wilkes Co. GA.

Hi Rhonda! I went to LowCountry Africana & did a search EDISTO & the database returned several documents. I also did a random search for some of your surnames & they too yielded a result.
