Radzavicz would be a Polonized version of Radzevičius...or vice versa...chicken or the egg? Gaidys or Gaidis (the 'i' and 'y' are interchangeable) is a common Lithuanian name.
Jenny,
I think Pristawonir is Prystovai, in the Kretinga region. It's about 8 miles north north east of Plunge. I'll do something thinking on Sanda. It doesn't sound Lithuanian, but I checked the Lithuanian phone directory and there ARE Sanda names listed.
Hi Virginia,
Thanks for joining my group. Your spelling of Komiszius looks like it's influenced by Polish, which might easily have happened in the southern part of Lithuania, or during the immigration. I think the true Lithuanian spelling would be Komičius. Judging from the Lithuanian Internet phone directory, it's not a terribly common name in Lithuania. You might get some results by writing to people with that name in Lithuania.
