DNA study

I would like to compare DNA results with two Robertson families that may turn out to be the same family.
1. William Robertson that married Abigail Cleveland about 1787 - I believe this is the William Robertson that died in Gallatin county, Ky in 1823.

2. And/or the William Robertson that died in Frederick county, Va. about 1798.

Dorothy Inez Hoffman Jones, Will be Remembered

Our Mother, Dorothy Inez Hoffman Jones, daughter of Cecil L Jones and Inez Mae Scott, was born 29 June 1920 at Little Bear, Platte Co. Wyoming. She left this earth to go home 10 January 2011 at Valley Ford, Sonoma Co., Califonria.

The names chosen by the manufacturers of memory cards are not helpful. They seldom give you any idea what the product is or can do. Since, in my experience, genealogists are consumers of flash memory and purchase digital cameras, it would be convenient to know what you are looking at when making a purchase without doing a search on the Internet. How I Save and Archive My Digital Photos

I spend a lot of time flying back and forth between Houston and Los Angeles to visit my family. The flight is 3 hours and last year I made a commitment to spend that three hour time period working on sorting, identifying and tagging all of my digital photos. By the time we take off, get our complimentary beverages, prepare for the descent, it probably works out to about 2 hours but that time I have totally dedicated to this task. First time back in a while

Every now and then I have to take a break from the genealogy. I don't know why. I am addicted to the core, but I think it has something to do with interference from the present--children to raise, holidays to celebrate, new memories to forge.
