Hello James

I couldn't agree more with your conclusion that new genealogy software programs need to address compatible media inclusion. We're getting into a time when the old "family photo album" or scrapbook is simply too old-fashioned to include things such as family reunion film and video, private oral histories, slide shows, and even historical films/videos. As telling the family story grows out of the simple generational charts into more completely evidenced and sourced "documentaries", we do need software which allows us to utilize desktop media tools, hyperlink to copies and scans of original materials in whatever form they may be available.
