Trying to find Robert Elzy, born about 1840 in Kentucky. He married Polly Ann Crouch 18 Jul 1861 in Moultrie County, Illinois. They had five children: Susan Lovina Elzy, William Joseph Elzy, Marshall James Elzy, Marshall James Elzy, and Laura Ann Elzy. He died 02 Mar 1880 in Sullivan, Moultrie County, Illinois.
We believe Robert's father was James C Elzy, born abt 1818 in Kentucky, who was the son of Elzy Elzy (b Bet. 1780 - 1781 in Pennsylvania), but have hit the proverbial brick wall and need help breaking it down.
