Hello again, June! I just noticed that I never got a response from you from 1 1/2 years ago... I hope you are ok! My email address is aplus_lady@hotmail.com , if you still have the Abraham Sallee info. My apologies if you've already sent it; I can't seem to find it anywhere... Loralee Wellington
Hi June! I'm so sorry to not get in touch with you until now... It was the beginning of the holiday season, and then I forgot to get back to you... I thought I remembered connecting with you via e-mail, but nothing came up when I searched my inbox. Anyway, I would love to learn the Abraham Sallee information you have - especially his time in France, and how he got here. I know he was involved in the Manakin colony in Virginia... Very exciting to be a descendent of someone important enough to have quite a bit of info out there about him! As for the Jacksons, I can't tell you as far back as I would like to - I know my aunt got that line back to colonial days as well, but her info is all packed up, and I lost most of what she gave me. Here are some of the names I was able to find in old e-mails from her: My g-grandmother was
Nancy Adeline Jackson b 29 Apr 1857 Phelps Co, daughter of
John J. Jackson b. 30 Aug. 1817 in Harrison Co, KY
m. Emily Payne 06 Mar. 1837 in Washington Co MO
d. 15 Apr 1898 in Edgar Springs, Phelps Co,
son of
William Pentecost Jackson b. abt 1780 in KY/VA m. Jane (Jinny) Sally 09 Nov 1810 in Greene Co KY d. 24 Nov. 1866 in Washington Co, MO
Hi June! I noticed that you are also researching the surname SALLE! (Yay, not many of us out there!) I am descended from Abraham Salle who was a Hugeunot in France in the 1600's. I recently lost all of my research in a fire, so I can't give you details right now, but I do know that my g-grandmother, Nancy JACKSON, was from my Salle line, so when I saw that you are a Jackson-Sallee, I almost whooped out loud! Anyway, I'd love to connect with you to find out more. aplus_lady@hotmail.com Loralee Wellington
Hello, My name is John Johnston and my great grandfathers name was Samuel Robert Johnston and was born in 1886 and died in 1960 in MO. Dont know if it is a coincidence on the names, or maybe just a popular name amongst the Johnston family? Im hear if you wanna chat sometime.

June,
I just noticed that you are also researching PEARSON. Are your Pearsons from SC, by chance?
