I'm from Andrew Uriah Moore check our tree on ancestry.com cjbellie123 owner,
Family of James Moore & Mary Ann Lindsey.
Did you ean Washington TWP??(Jefferson County, Pennsylvania
My name is Robert Garvin Moore. I am a descendant of William Moore (1797-1877) and Rosanna Ruley Moore (1801-1881) through Calmet Moore. William and Rosanna were born in Pennsylvania. They married on January 20, 1819 in Belmont, Ohio and had twelve children ( Cyntha Moore, Calmet "Call” Moore, Minerva Moore, William Riley Moore, Flavius Quincy Moore, John Madison Moore, Volumnia Moore, Bellona Moore, Ferdinand F. Moore, Aurellia Jane Moore, Rosamond Moore and Oscar Corwin Moore). Unfortunately, I have not found any records about the father of William. My current research leads to an Andrew Moore, who "removed to Washington county, Pennsylvania” in 1797. I should receive a DNA report from Ancestry in a few weeks. Could you please share your research on any Andrew Moore’s in Pennsylvania circa 1797?
Do any of you have a Mormon connection with those living in Liberty, Missouri at anytime?
My Moores were Quakers from Virginia, but my line moved to Tennessee where my ancestor David Moore "married out of unity." They lived in Claiborne County, Grainger County, and Blount County, TN. The "Lone Mountain" area of NE TN.
I a James S Moore, who I know know was in Shelby County, Kentucky in the 1830s, married a Frances Herndon Cinnamon(d), and went to Clay County, Missouri. He returned from Missouri, was in Morgan/Wolfe county. He died in Clay County Mo between 1860 and 1870. I an seeking information on his family. Possibly a James F Moore, who was in Shebly County, KY in 1800-1830.
Hello,
I am searching for the ancestors of Henry Moore (1808-1851) from South Strabane, Washington, Pennsylvania. Henry had 9 children, 3 girls and 6 boys. I can only find Henry on an 1850 Census.
Hello,
I am searching for a James S. Moore, who was in Morgan/ Wolfe County Kentucky in the early 1800's. He married a Nancy McClain, and they had several children. I cannot find hin in a census record, Nancy appears alone with her children, and she had children for many years. I had family information that gave me their names, but nothing more. If anyone can help me with information on the elusive Mr. Moore, and his family, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
I have 266 Moores in my tree. I have extracted the entire list into a PDF file of
29 pages which I will send to any who wish it. If there are points of further interest
in this I will be happy to add what I can. Most of these are in PA as that is where
my connection to the Shivery family is from. So if anyone wants this file send me
an e-mail addr.
