Kentucky Settelers

I have family that moved over from Wales to Kentucky. Without knowing many dates, how does one find out where they came from originally? I have been looking for answers for a few years now, and no one in the family is able to find out or remember anything.

Can you tell me more about your grandmother Anna Mae Caverly? I would like to fill in more Caverly details in my data files. I don't have birth dates for Anna or her siblings Dorothy, Robert, Wm and John. I know your family tree is from the New Hampshire Caverlys where mine are the NY Caverlys.
I believe mine originally are from England, but I have far to go to actually connect them. Many that are researching my line claim that they are from the John(?)Sutton/Sarah Tilden line out of England.
