My Holmes line came to Peoria County, in about 1845-46. The father Hanford Holmes moved there from Westchester county, New York. He died in 1846 in Peoria, His wife was Margaret nee Rogers Holmes. Children were James Rogers, Joseph Hanford Cluss Holmes and Elizabeth Rachel Holmes Gedney.
I didn't see any of those you listed that I know were linked to mine. However, just recently I've discovered some of Margaret's brothers in Peoria County as well.so it looks like there was a major immigration of their relatives from New York to Peoria County. Most of my Holmes line settled in the Princeville and Akron Townships.
