Land Warrants
I have been researching prospective Revolutionary war Patriots. I have found some of these men at the age of upper eighty's pettionting for land. Does anyone know if at that age did anyone receive a land grant. If the government ran as slow as it does now, I wonder if they died after being approved for it did any of their family receive the grant.

I have wondered about these land warrants too as although, I have seen info of Patriots receiving pension monies I've never been able to accertain whether any of them (my family) got any land grants? This site at the following link give some insight on these Land Warrants.

I know that my Benoni Grant received land in Canada for his Rev. War service.
