My Perthshire ancestors

I have two Perthshire lines in my family tree. One is Angus Kennedy and Elizabeth McKay who married at Ardlaroch at the western end of Loch Rannoch in 1778. The other is Daniel Dow and Mary Harris from Wester Inchewan in Little Dunkeld who married there in 1814. My family still use the middle name Harris.

My Perthshire family is Oliphant, specifically the elusive/historic/mysterious Duncan Oliphant b. about 1682 in Perthshire and came to Staten Island, New York circa 1695. No one has been able, so far, to pin-point his parentage.
