Second Life Acronyms
We use a lot of acronyms in Second Life since most of us have a hard time typing. Here is a list to get you started. Please add more.
SL = Second Life
RL = Real Life
TY = thank you
YW = your welcome
LOL = laughing out loud
NP = no problem
Y = yes
N = no
JG = Just Genealogy (location in SL)
Newest addition to our world is:
GW = Genealogy Wise
P.S. I wonder why we don't have an acronym for genealogy since we all spell it wrong all of the time. Something to think about.

LM = landmark (a bookmark to a location in SL)
TP = teleport (an invitation to join someone at a different location in SL)
AFK = away from keyboard
IB = I'm back
BRB = be right back
TTYL = talk to you later
BBL = be back later
SL time = same as U.S. Pacific time
L$ = Linden dollars (official currency in SL)
LR = Live Roots (location in SL) -
