Native American ancestry & the Willoughby's
Many people I have talked to with Willoughby ancestors have said they were told they had Native American Ancestors. Please share what you have heard from you ancestors.
My great-grandmother Ardell Willoughby said that she was descendant from all 5 civilized Indian Tribes. I was 9 and didn't think to ask her how.

Hi Lukas, I've suspected for a long time that there was NA blood in the Willoughby line. My grandma Hilda looks so much like her grandma, the Elizabeth Willoughby for whom I'm searching the maternal line. I also favor both of them, especially around the eyes. However, I look like my mom's side, too. I've attached a picture of both Elizabeth and Hilda.

Lukas, I was wondering if there is a chance the Willoughby's could be of Melungeon descent? (Tri Racial Isolates)
