Question for those who collect genealogical documents
I am trying to document my Burris line for the DAR. I have two grand parents who lived most of their lives in Kentucky, but both died in Tennessee in the hospital nearest their home. Which state do I send to looking for their death certificates? Any help will be appreciated.

Death certificates are always issued by the state in which the individual dies. Best wishes on locating what you need.
