Armando Framarini has not received any gifts yet
Armando, please inform all that are taking the DNA test to go for the Family Finder test, it will save them later as most dont realize that its very important and will save them in time as most will go back for it later and will have to wait the same length of time as the standard test. I regret not taking the Family finder in the first place, I am now waiting on my Family Finder results, the Ysearch site thru FTDNA is where all these tests are uploaded to. I am still learning about DNA but from what I know, everyone should take one. You might just find a skeleton somewhere in the closet, as in all Families, so dont be ashamed if you do, its all common and human. Like my Father told me, A person that never made a mistake, never did anything
Hello, How are you doing?
I found a van Soldt in London you may not have.

Hi,
I have seen the book "Genealogie Zoll - Sol 1732-1995". Unfortunately, it is not commercially available. It is stored in the Netherlands national library in The Hague. In the coming weeks I will visit the library and I can make some a photocopy of it. Hopefully you don't have problems with the language.
The Zoll-Sol family described in the book originate from Johan Christian Zoll who was born near Hessen in the west of Germany. The name of this line of the Zoll family was changed into Sol in the 18th century. Dutch people named Zoll (like me) are descendants of Gosewijn Hendrik Zoll (or Goswin Hennerich) Zoll, born in 1717 in Soest a place near Munster in Germany. His father and grandfather were probably Hermann Zoll (1679) and Willem Zoll respectively.
Based on the towns were they lived it is probable that both Johan Christian Zoll and Gosewijn Hendrik Zoll were Germans serving as soldiers in the dutch army (Staatse leger).
I know that a Gosewijn Zoll emigrated to the USA during the 18th or 19th century. Unfortunately, I was not able to trace any relatives so far.
