Fran, my mom is still fiesty and living on her own with her little 6 year old pekinese dog. Old Arthritis is giving her a lot of problems, but otherwise, she is a medical miracle. She may well outlive me. Her 90 yr old brother, Robert Shealy, passed away this past June and she has a 91 year old sister still living on her own. There is definitely longevity in the Shealy family. I believe Aunt Alice(Kirsch), Joseph Antolak's grandmother, lived to about 96 years of age. So there was some longevity in the Kirsch family too.
Hi Fran,
Yes, indeed, I do remember you. How are your searches coming? I have been busy with caring for my 97 yr old Mom and haven't done any research for a couple of years. Plus my 'puter took a crash and then my daughter changed genealogy programs, so I basically am going to have to input all of my information from scratch again. Not looking forward to that, as I'm not sure I have hard copies of my sources anymore and it is going to be tricky to match the sources up with the person. Heard from a Kirsch relative last winter(Joseph Antalak) and have not been able to get back to him either. Hope your summer is going well. It sure has been hot and muggy in Michigan. Regards, Ella
