Hi Kristen,
I don't have a George Hawkins. But I have very little information about there Hawkins. My great grandfather came from Georgia. Married a Lucinda Mariah Henderson. Can get very little information on the rest.
Take Care,
Jeanne

Thank you for your comment and invitation to be a friend here. I am not sure that your Cantwell's are connected to ours, but it is always worth checking into. My grandfather's grandmother was Ida Letitia Cantwell, born in Princess Anne, Somerset, Maryland in June 1856, daughter of John H. Cantwell (born in Maryland in 1814) and Eunice Holt (born in Delaware in 1819)

I forgot to ask about Burns. My grgrandparents were James Burns and Margaret Ford. Both from Ireland. He came to this country in 1845 and came through Boston to Worcester and finally to Syracuse and Cazenovia NY. James served in the Irish Brigade in the Civil War.

Hi - Did your Darling family come through Vermont? The Vermont Historical Society has a 44 volume handwritten set of books about the Darlings. They are cross - indexed. I believe the Mormons has copied them. I also have some Darling tombstone pictures from Green Mount Cemetery in Montpelier. I am not related to them, just did some research on them for others.
