To Dawns family and friends: I am new at GW and Dawn was so helpful and patient with everyone! Our hearts are all heavy at this time, but our memories are only of fondness for her dedication to this site and her internet friends every where.will miss her greatly! Dawn was a wonderful woman to talk to online and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family. She was so helpful and had lots of good information about Genealogy Research and was always willing to help others out with their research.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, I'm still in shock after reading this note! Dawn was a very special person and we shared many good talks and laughs together and joked how we could almost be sisters when talking about our family histories and all. Recently, we had been talking about my husbands death a few years ago, he died the same way sudden heart attack at 49 yrs of age, too young to have passed on and it's so soon for you to have lost Dawn too.
Her presence on GW will be greatly missed, she was always a friend to us here and helped us out anyway she could and we tried to help her as well. It will take a long while before I stop looking for her here, it has become habit for me, as I'm sure it has for others as well! I feel the sadness here today and although I'm quite sure that Dawn would not want us mourning after her, it's very hard to tell our hearts that!

The comments of the many people here only verify my thoughts that Dawn was a lovely lady with a beautiful sense of humor and an abundance of desire to help others. We only chatted briefly while I've been a member, but I always came away with a good feeling. I am so sorry for your loss and send prayers to you and your family.
